Above the knee, six layers of Kevlar provide 240° coverage around each leg, with additional protection extending 4″ into the upper inner-leg/crotch area to help protect the femoral artery region. From the knee to the ankle, a full 360° Kevlar backpad provides protection all the way around the leg.
The result is expanded chainsaw protection from the upper thigh through the ankle, with additional coverage where a kickback can be especially dangerous.
